Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore, is an amazing Hollywood actress and author whose talents have earned the attention of critics and acclaim. Sagittarius in birth and born December 3 of 1960 on the state of North Carolina. She's the oldest of children from Peter Moore Smith a paratrooper, and Anne, a psychology student. Her parents are of English as well as Scottish heritage. Moore moved frequently with her family due to the duties that her dad was employed in. This made it difficult to make or maintain new acquaintances. Moore began acting in plays as she travelled with her family to Germany. After completing her B.F.A. from Boston University in 1983, Moore continued her education. Following graduation, Moore relocated to New York and began her journey in Off-Broadway Theater. Moore started her theater career off-Broadway and in New York, after she graduated. In an episode of The Edge of Night in 1985, she made her first on-screen appearance. She played the dual role as Sabrina Hughes and Frannie Hughes in the show As the World Turns that was her first major role. It was on from 1988 to the present and was awarded a Daytime Emmy Award for her performance. In 1990, she made her debut on the screen in the form of Tales from the Darkside: The Movie. She appeared in Short Cuts (1993) and 3 Women (1997) both productions of Robert Altman. For the former, Moore won numerous awards as well as praise from critics. Moore was the first actress to get a major part in Safe, a 1995 film. Steven Spielberg's choice to cast Moore as the lead in Jurassic Park: The Lost World which was one of the highest grossing films from 1997, marked a major moment in Moore's career. The year 1999 was the first time she received the SAG Award for her performance in Magnolia. The Hours starred Moore in 2002 and was nominated by nine Academy Awards along with Nicole Kidman. Moore is also featured in The Forgotten (2004), Freedomland 2006, Shelter 2010, etc. Non-Stop was her film of 2014. Moore has appeared in numerous movies and television shows. Her most recent prominent roles was In 2022, When You Finish Securing the World. She has made her mark on the screen in Hollywood as well as being a children's author. She published her first book in 2007 Freckleface Strawberry, which became the New York Times bestseller. The best-selling book was made into a film, a series, and even a musical. Her 2013 book, My Mom is A Foreigner also became a top-selling. In her career as a highly successful actress and author Moore's personal life and experiences are public. She split from John Robin in 1995. Bart Freundlich, whom Moore then married in 2003 has two children with her. Moore's main focus is her family, friends as well as her career.
